Female Sexuality Surveys - Exploring Female Sexuality and Diversity

I have been asked on several occasions to feature surveys on this website. I have been reluctant to do so, as they would not be an accurate representation of the general population of women. The results apply only to the women who have access to the survey, and those women who are motivated to participate. In this case, only women who have access to the Internet and this website and those who can read English can participate. You can unintentionally, or intentionally, force participants to answer in ways that do not accurately reflect their experience, by limiting the number of possible choices. The possible results are limited by those who create the survey and their expectations and believes. If they do not expect, or want, the participants to answer in a certain way, they cannot. With this type of survey you cannot verify the accuracy of the results, you don't know if the participants are being honest with you, or themselves. There are also communication barriers, especially with with global survey. As a result, these surveys serve more a entertainment purpose than a scientific one. The results of the survey represent the women who participate, not necessarily women in general.

The benefits of adding surveys to the website is that thousands of women from around the world visit the website so it is possible for a large number of women to participate. Most surveys do not have access to such a large group of women, with such diverse backgrounds.

The surveys will likely change with time, as data is collected and a need for change is noted. The surveys will be accessible even if new ones should replace them.

The surveys are hosted off site, at a website that is dedicated to surveys.

Women's Sexual Experiences

This first survey looks at what sexual experiences women have had in their life. What have they done or not done sexually? What are they interested in sexually? It looks at many different aspects of their sexuality, and its many potential forms. Later surveys will look at specific areas of their sexuality in more detail. I have done my best to allow for a multitude of different sexual experiences and backgrounds. Background information is collected so we can have an idea of who has participated. This survey looks at the physical aspects of female sexuality rather than their feelings about it.

Sensitivity of Vagina &
Size Preference

The following survey seeks to gain a better understanding of how sensitive a woman perceives her vagina is to different types of stimulation. Since female teens and women of all ages may take part in the survey, their level of experience varies considerably, so I have included several different types or measures of vaginal sensation in the survey. Size preference regarding objects inserted vaginally is also addressed.
